ROMEO 5 Red Dot Sight Review
So far as we know, most of the red dots replica in the market can not meet the needs of shooting around
in the airsoft filed, but you know the beauty of RDS sights well
this is why today I bring this Original Romeo 5 RDS to desk for a review. in conclusion:
this is a sight which you don't need pay much and worthy your money
ok, firstly, let's open the box , and take a look at
as we can see this is a nice package filled with lots of information, not only the appearance is nice
Take out the sight and accessories
let's take a close look at Romeo5 sight , the edges and corners are clearly demarcated,
it is said that this design in orderly to meet the demand of low profile requirment
the serial number
the base mount of the Romeo5 , double secure deisgn
ok, now, let's test about the red dot of Romeo 5
it has 8tap position, clear enough at day light time
but the lens looks like a bit green, but I have met this problem before with Aimpoint T2 or Trijicon MRO
absolute co-witness
as we can see the parallax is almost free. lots of replicas when the red dot move to the edge of view field, it will be misshaped
or just disappeared, but this sight doesn't have such problem.
further, Romeo 5 have 2 settings of NV brightness , when I turn the NV model, the red dot is barely seen
this sight, as Sig Sauer said: it can held the impact of .223 or .300 cal, but pity that I don't have such firearms, so i can't test it
but this sights is a little more interesting, it has a MOTAC function, which is: Motion sensing technology
the red dot shut down in 2 mins if nothing touched
a slightly movement, the red dot working again
the review come to its end here, Romeo 5 water resistant level is IPX7, this is good to use under humidy or rainy environment.
I have tested it under water 1 meter for around 5mins, the red dot works fine.
